About Me

Lourdes Villagran, CSWA

Hola! I’m Lourdes Villagran, I’m a Latina immigrant and I’m a bilingual (Spanish/ English) and bicultural social worker and therapist based in Oregon.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from California State University of San Bernardino and I earned a Master’s of Social Work from University of Denver in 2020. Since that time I have had the privilege of working with diverse individuals from families, young adults, and adults.

I have worked in a variety of settings for the past 10 years. I’ve worked in schools, non-profits, community mental health, and private practices, supporting youth, adults, and families.

As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I am passionate and dedicated to serve the BIPOC and Latinx community. My approach is to focus on well-being, cultural response, and trauma informed care. I used my own learned experiences to connect with individuals and communities of similar background.

It takes courage and strength to take the beginning steps to choose to take care of yourself . I understand that it can be scary to trust someone and be vulnerable. My goal is create a space for you to feel supported, safe, and be yourself. My hope is that we can work together toward a journey of healing, recovery, self-discovery, and empowerment.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends, going to nature, walking with my dog, exercising, and weight lifting. I enjoy hiking especially since I moved to the PNW.
